While not a fancy name in comparison to the other isles, Trainer Isle is the second largest isle in the Shining Isle cluster. There are many places to go here, and is more of a giant city than towns spotted along the landscape. There are many houses where non-breeders choose to make their home. A few arenas can be found here where trainers can test their skills with one another.

** CHARACTERS MUST HAVE ONE BADGE BEFORE BEING ABLE TO TRAVEL HERE. **

Sub-boards: SHALLOW CREEK CITY, TIDAL CITY

A fairly small town that also leads to the Elite Four from a route to the east of it, Viridian also (oddly enough) hold the eighth gym in the Kanto region. However, trainers looking to battle the gym leader early on will find the doors locked until they receive their seventh badge.

Sub-boards: VIRIDIAN CITY GYM, ROUTE TWO

A rather small city sourounded mostly by rocks and a rugged terrain, Pewter City holds the first gym trainers will need to battle in order to earn their first gym badge. There is also a museum full of rare fossils and other things found primarily in Mt Moon.

Sub-boards: PEWTER CITY GYM, ROUTE THREE, MT MOON

Another small city that sees traffic due to it's multiple ways into the city, as well as the renown Bill living not too far away. It's quite beautiful what with all of the flowers; but the main interest is the water type Gym that can be found here.

Sub-boards: ROUTE NINE, ROUTE FOUR, ROUTE FIVE, CERULEAN CITY GYM, ROUTE TWENTY FOUR

A port city and home to the Pokemon Fan Club, Vermilion is also home to the third gym in the Kanto League.

Sub-boards: ROUTE SIX, VERMILION CITY GYM, ROUTE ELEVEN

A quaint little town nestled mostly in rocks, one wouldn't assume that this place was once a major place for resting Pokemon. Graves can still be found here, however the once magnificent Pokemon Tower has long been replaced with a radio tower. Ghosts are said to still haunt this town, however.

Sub-boards: ROUTE EIGHT, ROUTE TEN, ROUTE TWELVE, ROUTE THIRTEEN

The largest city and located in the middle of the Kanto region, one can find plenty to do when visiting this large city; from contests to a gym battle, to even a giant storm.

The Magnet Train, which takes travelers from Saffron to Goldenrod in Johto if they have a pass.

A rather beautiful city with game corner and department store, one can also find a grass type Gym hidden among the trees surrounding the city itself.

Sub-boards: ROUTE SEVEN, CELADON CITY GYM, BIKING ROAD

One of the larger cities in Kanto, if not only for the Safari Zone and gym that both reside here. Come here to try your luck at catching a rare Pokemon, or fight for your next gym badge!

Sub-boards: ROUTE NINETEEN, ROUTE FOURTEEN, ROUTE FIFTEEN, FUCHSIA CITY GYM, SAFARI ZONE

An island once heavily inhabited, it now lays a pile of mostly smoldering ash still standing here and there. Although now not much to see anymore, Cinnabar is still home to the seventh gym -- if one knows how to find it.

Sub-boards: ROUTE TWENTY, ROUTE TWENTY ONE

A small city with beautiful flowers and a nice view of the ocean.

Sub-boards: ROUTE THIRTY ONE, ROUTE THIRTY

A city looking as though it was plopped right down in the middle of the woods. One can find the first gym leader of the Johto region here, as well as the Sprout Tower, where many Pokemon -- including Bellsprout -- there.

Sub-boards: BELL TOWER, VIOLET CITY GYM, ROUTE THIRTY TWO, ROUTE THIRTY SIX

A forrested town where Pokemon live together happily. The Slowpoke Well, where many Slowploke reside, can be found shortly before the town; and Bugsy of the Pokemon Gym here fights trainers using his bug type Pokemon.

Sub-boards: ROUTE THRITY THREE, AZALEA TOWN GYM, ILEX FOREST

An imerseve city with a gaming corner, gym and radio tower. There is also transportation that can take one to Kanto.

Sub-boards: GOLDENROD CITY GYM, ROUTE THIRTY FIVE, ROUTE THIRTY FOUR

An old city with many myths and legends surrounding it. There is -- or was -- two towers here. One has, however, since burned to the groun.

A coastal city with an Ampharos powered light house, Olivine is a great place to relax -- or for a Pokemon battle.

Just a surf away from Olivine is the beach side city of Cianwood. One can relax here or check out the medicine store.

A small mountainous town with only two ways in or out. The Lake of Rage can be found to the north of this place.
