PERSONALITY: Yarrow is quiet and simple, and is used to a very basic life. He doesn't scare or startle easily and is often curious about the world around him and quite polite and easy to get along with, but has very little ambition of his own, happy to go along with the flow or do what others want to do. He's patient and very tolerant of most things, with a sort of perpetual mild but vaguely sunny attitude and a simple but rather accurate perspective on the world.

PERSONALITY: Durian was given to Jay as a second starter from the Rangers to supplement his lab one. This means Durian herself is prepared for being a Ranger's companion. Rescued and transferred from Alola after a flood, he was recovered and trained under the handling of Ranger's with the expectation to serve a new Ranger. Loyal and battle-ready, she's not particularly strongly bonded to Jay yet, but he's more then prepared to follow orders. This means he tends to be a bit quiet and distant, not interacting much with his trainer, but when it comes to the call to action she is swift to act, and she is more then satisfied with trying to become stronger and do what's right as a Ranger's companion, even if not always as Jay's companion.
