APPEARANCE:
Alic is a very handsome man. Like something out of a story book, he is tall, dark, and handsome. His hair is messy in just the right way, a pitch-black color like a raven's feather, with most of it cut to his chin, and one lock that sits between his eyes. His skin is very pale, like a ghost's, almost porcelain in color.

His eyes are a fierce, reddish color, with some brown tints that give it the color of finely aged wine. His eyebrows are thin, and black like the rest of his hair. He has the features of a finely bred aristocrat; a fine, slender face, high cheekbones, and a small, pointed nose. His hands are built like the rest of him, fine and thin, with long, pianist fingers.

Alic stands at 5'11. He is long and lanky, with thin, fine limbs, and is mostly leg. He has a swimmer's build, with fairly defined muscles, without being too defined.
PERSONALITY:
Alic is a very mercurial person; he can be your worst enemy one minute, and your best friend the next. How he treats you depends on how he views you. He tries to treat all his Pokemon equal, but isn't afraid to single out bullies or lay-abouts who don't bother with anything. Alic is very strict on his Pokemon, insisting on perfection, and not standing for anything less.

To some people, Alic can seem like a cool and cruel person, but in reality he doesn't believe in softening his words. If you can't take the truth, he believes, then you haven't earned the right to go to be a Trainer. Many people seem to find him imposing, and rather severe, but he has his good side too. Once you're on his good side or, at least, not his shit-list, he can actually be a really nice, and often humorous, person. His humor tends to run on the dark side, with black humor and gallows humor being his favorite, although he's quite happy to prank others like a little kid.

When relaxed, or not paying attention, Alic tends to act very flirty, without realizing it. He is completely oblivious to this, as he isn't good at picking up on affection, or most emotions. Emotional things tend to go over his head, although he does try.
HISTORY:

Alic had a very... proper upbringing. His family lived in a manor, and thought they were worth more than they were. He was raised like a royal, or noble, his parents expecting him to get them a higher station in life. Unfortunately, this meant his upbringing was severe and harsh, leaving little time for him to be a kid. His family was more focused on making sure he reflected well on them, rather than that he was enjoying his life.

He was learned in proper etiquette, such as being chivalrous and polite to both ladies and gentleman, and still maintains the rather proper way of speech. Even his posture was corrected, being forced to carry himself in a way 'appropriate to a gentleman', with his shoulders back, spine straight, and head high.

Shortly after he became of schooling age, they moved to a more modest house in Ambrette Town, and he started school. In school, he found himself making friends for the first time. He discovered he loved Pokemon, not having been allowed to keep them before. He discovered he actually liked studying, at least the subjects he cares for, and did rather well. He also discovered that he enjoys manual labor, which had always been 'below him' before.

Unfortunately, things weren't all sunshine and rainbows. His father was severe, and was power-hungry, his mother much the same. They were desperate to push Alic into a marriage that would be advantageous to his family, and constantly introduced him to 'eligible ladies', and had been doing so for years. Unfortunately, Alic was very much not into them. This resulted in many fights, as his parents couldn't understand why he couldn't propose to one of them for the sake of his family, or accept a betrothal.

Finally, there was a final, blow-out fight. In the heat of the moment, he snarled out that he'd never marry any of them, because he didn't like women. After a moment, he found himself out on his butt, penniless and disowned. He had hoped that they would accept him, but they didn't. This gave him a bit of a complex, and he still prefers not to let people know his preferences. For a while, he wandered around, before making up his mind. He was his own man now, wasn't he? So he decided to become a Pokemon Breeder, moving to Kanto.
