Welcome to Keep Moving On, an open world Pokemon
roleplay that allows you to travel to varying lands,
capture and trade numerous Pokemon, and travel
to your hearts content! While we are still working
on adding more areas for you to roleplay, feel
free to sign up and start your journey today!
Make sure to stop by and read all of the rules here in this thread, so you don't by chance break any of them. These rules are subject to chance via staff desecration.
BASIC RULES !
1.) Keep Moving On follows Proboards TOS; so regarding roleplaying and the site in general, keep everything PG-13, if you could. Mention of drugs, sex and otherwise adult themes are prohibited.
2.) Currently, only have one account per person, please. There might be leeway for certain members; but please ask before doing so.
3.) As this is meant to be a fun and relaxing site, KMO doesn't force you to be active. However, the more activity, the more likely people are to join the site.
4.) Be kind to other members and treat others the way you'd want to be treated. Things like bullying will not be tolerated on this site.
5.) Please don't double post unless otherwise needed. Spamming is also prohibited.
1.) As stated before, please only have one account per person on here (acceptions can be made; just please message a staff member beforehand). Make sure to put a link to your character's bio and pc in your signature once they're accepted/created, that way staff and other members can easily access them as needed.
2.) Members are allowed to start with up to two characters at once. However, once you hit your limit, one of your first two characters must earn their first badge before you can create another; after, your second character must earn their second badge before you can create another, and so on and so forth.
3.) As per League regulations, all characters are only allowed to carry six Pokemon at a time on their person. Any caught after the sixth Pokemon should automatically be placed in the PC or switched out for another Pokemon.
4.) Currently, all characters are subject to the 'start over' rule unless there is a site wide event going on. This means that upon your character getting accepted, they will have no Pokemon with them when receiving their starter, even if they have ventured through other regions before starting a new journey. This will help even the playing field for many characters.
5.) All members are allowed to keep track of their character's PCs and whatnot, however this privilege will be revoked if members are found abusing this. Note that characters should have separate PC's so they are kept nicer.
6.) Currently, we do not accept PokeMorphs -- or people that are for one reason or another are half Pokemon.
1.) Again, only six Pokemon should be on each team per character. Any Pokemon caught after six Pokemon have been placed on the team should either be placed in the PC, or switched with a Pokemon on the team.
2.) While it's been commonly seen that Pokemon in the anime and sometimes the games can talk or do other odd things that they normally cannot do, this is restricted for KMO. Unless a Pokemon species as a whole can do something odd ( like Purrlion being able to walk on two legs ), Pokemon in general cannot talk or do other human-like things.
* It is plausible that certain Pokemon, such as Slowking and Alakazam, can talk or use telepathy. However, this is once they grow older in roleplay, and eventually learn how to do such things as they grow in character. It might also be plausible for certain Ghost type Pokemon to learn how to talk or use telepathy; depending, of course, on their previous life and through roleplay experience.
3.) As this is primarily canon-based, there aren't going to be any Fakemon -- or Pokemon that have been created by fans that aren't actually made by the creators -- here on the site. However, variants of Pokemon will be allowed, so long as they are run by staff first.
1.) There really isn't a standard post minimum on KMO. We ask that you try to write at least one paragraph (four full sentences) per post with good grammar, but otherwise don't have a word minimum. We aren't also going to expect you to reply to a post everyday; but posting regularly helps promote growth!
2.) Whenever characters are starting on a new journey, they are expected to start at the first route of their preferred region in a linear fashion, or numerical order. Characters are only allowed to travel in between regions when they have raised at least four Pokemon to level fifteen to prove that they are strong enough to travel to other regions. Once this has hit, they may travel to one region of their choice. However, to get to another region that they haven't gone to, they must catch at least three Pokemon from the new region and raise them to level fifteen, and so on and so forth (however, once a character has been to a region, they can go back at any time).
3.) Sort of adding onto the previous rule, characters are allowed to have up to four separate threads for a single character going on at once. However -- only one of those are allowed to be a modded thread; the rest can be whatever you'd like.
5.) Only mods are allowed to spawn wild Pokemon (unless under certain conditions; i.e. the character receives the Pokemon in a previous site event). Only Gmods and Admins are allowed to spawn shiny Pokemon, and no legendary Pokemon are currently allowed to be spawned. To see a complete list, see here.
